Nature enjoyment at the Krieglhütte – Where time moves slower


The Krieglhütte in Geistthal-Södingberg is a quiet retreat on the edge of the forest – where everyday life fades away and nature sets the pace. Surrounded by gentle hills, blooming meadows, and fragrant forests, a vacation begins that is more than just relaxation – it is a deep breath for body and soul, accompanied by a beautiful view over the western Styrian hilly landscape.
Numerous hiking and biking trails in the area provide opportunities for relaxing walks, sporty excursions, and picnic moments with a view of grazing Lipizzaner horses. The cozy hut accommodates up to 6 people. On cooler days, a crackling wood stove provides comforting warmth – the wood is readily available right outside the door. A photovoltaic system ensures electricity and hot water – sustainable, quiet, and reliable.
In bad weather, the Therme NOVA in Köflach (about 20 minutes by car) invites you to relax. And when the sun shines, the grill area in front of the hut becomes the favorite spot – with the scent of grilled food and the sounds of nature.


A place to slow down, breathe deeply, and linger – right in the heart of nature, with a lot of feeling.
