For more than a century, the Weitzer has been one of the most well-known establishments in the city. Taken over by Johann Weitzer in 1910 and now run by the fourth generation, the hotel has continuously evolved, combining tradition with contemporary hospitality. Its location by the Mur River, just steps away from the main square and the Kunsthaus, makes it an integral part of Graz's city center.

The offerings are diverse: Guests start their day in the bright breakfast room “Engelreich” with regional products, while Café Weitzer bridges the gap between classic café culture and modern city life. The in-house restaurant “Der Steirer” is particularly well-established, known for its regional cuisine – from Styrian fried chicken to seasonal dishes – and its extensive selection of wines.

A rooftop sauna with a view over the rooftops of Graz, a fitness area, and E-Vespas and bicycles available for excursions are part of the amenities. Several seminar rooms, equipped with modern facilities and flexible usage options, are available for business events.
