Garten Eden-Tour, St. Kathrein am Offenegg

Open
A beautiful tour around St. Kathrein am Offenegg in the Almenland Nature Park, which includes the local excursion destinations. Flowers, gardens and rowan berries - and the “highlight” of the Eibisberg!

The name of this tour alone raises special expectations and they are not disappointed - even if the wonderful show garden along the route is called “Sulamith”. The highly decorated flower village of St. Kathrein is worth a visit alone, but the Graf distillery with its orchards at over 1,000 meters above sea level is also unique. The special features of the rowan berries processed here are best explained to you by the chef himself. The “highlight” in the truest sense of the word is the Eibisberg with its hut and a great view out to Weiz.

Stop:

GH Spreitzhofer, the best cuisine right on the bike path

GH Schwaiger, in the village center with a guest garden

Der WILDe Eder, tarts and chocolate from the patisserie world champion Eveline Wild

Lindenstüberl & Patschahütte: both businesses are only open on weekends

The current opening times of all businesses in the Almenland Nature Park can be found here.

Most of the route is asphalted, a small section leads along a forest path. A mountain bike is not necessary for the tour, but an e-bike is recommended.
