Wine and adventure tour at Wein & Genuss Hopfer

We are a family business in the wine-growing community of Tieschen in the south-eastern part of Vulkanland. We specialize in the production of typical Styrian wines and have one or two specialities in our range. Our winery is located on the Königsberg in Tieschen and has been developed into a fully equipped winery over the last 3 years.

In our wine and experience tour we take you into our vineyards and into our wine cellar. Together with winemaker Mario Hopfer, you will experience viticulture and wine production up close. The program is rounded off with wine tasting and a snack afterwards.

Tour highlights

1. Vineyard & nature: A walk through our vineyards on the Königsberg. Find out more about the sustainable cultivation of a vineyard and learn more about the soil, climate and creatures that influence the growth of the vines. Small wine tasting included.
   
2. Wine cellar & processing: Learn at various stations in our modern wine cellar how grapes are processed into wine - from pressing to maturing. This includes a tasting of the grape products depending on the processing stage.
   
3. Snack & wine tasting: Enjoy typical regional delicacies (meat, vegetables, pastries, pastries)* in our newly designed wine lounge “am Königsberg”. This is accompanied by a commented and themed wine tasting.
