About the offer

At Erlaufsee, round trips are offered on the newly restored 100-year-old ship "Christina" following the trains of the museum tramway.

Up to 70 passengers can ride per trip, there is an open deck and two salons.

In case of bad weather conditions or insufficient passenger frequency, there may be restrictions on the schedule.

There is no obligation to provide transportation on the ship!

Dogs with a muzzle and leash can ride for free!

Outside the published operating hours, the excursion ship is available for special trips and events from May to October upon request at 0664/2214853, 0664/1123557 or office@museumstramway.at.

Connections to and from the trains of the museum tramway will be ensured wherever possible.

About the serviceprovider

Since summer 2019, the Erlaufsee can also be explored by a more than hundred-year-old and completely newly restored excursion boat.
During World War I, the steam-powered ship was used on the Danube. After the renovation, batteries provide about 60 horsepower. The “Christina,” which accommodates around 65 passengers on the open deck and in two salons, is intended to prove itself as a nostalgic tourist offering.
