Leisurely tour of the Hauser Kaibling mountain pastures

Tour with beautiful landscapes.

This tour initially begins on a forestry lane with a moderate climbin the direction of the Hauser Kaibling. The last 200 m before the transmitter masts are very steep and covered in coarse gravel.A side trip to the Kaiblingalm and the reservoir is rewarded with great scenery. This tour combines nicely with the Gumpental or Kaibling tours.

The ascent is made with the 8-seater gondola lift at Hauser Kaibling:

From Salzburg: Follow the A10 to Altenmarkt. There, take the B320 and continue towards Liezen. Leave the road at the exit "Hauser Kaibling".

From Graz: Follow the A9 to Liezen. There, take the B320 and continue in the direction of Schladming. Leave the road at the exit "Hauser Kaibling".

Opening hours cable car 2020: (Hauser Kaibling 8-seater gondola)

From 27 June to 6 September 2020 daily from 09 am to 5 pm. One ascent and descent per day with Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard free of charge (bike not included), without Sommercard one ascent costs € 13.60 for adults (bike not included).  Costs for bike transport: € 6.00

Chargers for Bosch e-bikes are available at the Stangl Alm (Gumpental) and the Seewigtal Stüberl (parking area Steirischer Bodensee).

By train to the station Bahnhof Haus im Ennstal, then 2 km by bike to the valley station of the Hauser Kaibling cable car.
