The route runs parallel to the Ingering river and passes through idyllic settlements and a quiet, rural environment. The flat and pleasant stretch extends over approximately 10 kilometers to Gaal. Here, follow the signs towards Ingeringsee, as the road begins a gentle ascent. The Ingeringstraße continues into the valley, which becomes increasingly narrow and steep. Enjoy the impressive scenery, characterized by dense forests and high mountains. After another 8 kilometers, you will reach the parking lot at Ingeringsee.
From the parking lot, Ingeringsee is only a short walk away. The well-marked path leads directly to the lakeshore and takes about 10-15 minutes. The walk takes you through picturesque landscapes with dense forests and a magnificent mountain panorama. A small circular trail around the lake offers beautiful views of the water and the surrounding mountains. The circuit takes about 30-45 minutes and is ideal for relaxing and enjoying nature.
