The small village of Hohentauern offers many opportunities in summer and winter to be active outdoors and enjoy unspoilt nature. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the large tourist centres, the mountain village has a lot to offer!
Hohentauern, with the Triebental valley and the ski tour destinations around the Bösenstein, is known for its many rewarding ski tours. The region also offers some rewarding snowshoe tours. Ski and snowshoe tours are possible directly from the front door.

Directions
Take the A9 to Trieben. From Trieben in the direction of Judenburg 10 km to Hohentauern. In Hohentauern follow the signs to the Edelraute Hütte. Turn left before the tollbooth. The Sonnhof Hotel is on the right-hand side. The Gesslhube holiday flat is immediately after on the left-hand side.

The 70 m² holiday flat on 2 levels has its own entrance and can accommodate up to 5 people. The living area with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and corner sofa incl. fireplace provides a cosy atmosphere.
Anteroom, bathroom with WC, kitchen, dining, living area are on the ground floor. The sofa in the living room offers sleeping space for 2 persons. The bedroom on the 1st floor has 3 beds. The bright, friendly bathroom is equipped with a WC, washbasin and a bathtub. Towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker with extractor fan, refrigerator and dishwasher. Coffee maker, kettle and dishes are waiting for your visit. One part of the kitchen is the large dining table. There is room for 6 people. A wood-burning stove fills the living area with pleasant warmth in the cold season. The wood is ready for you. Many a pleasant evening can be spent on the cosy sofa. The sofa quickly transforms into a comfortable double bed. The filled bookshelves invite you to read when there is nothing on TV.
3 beds are available on the first floor. Sliding curtains separate the spacious sleeping area. On the 1st floor there is a cosy sofa next to the 3 beds. Generous cupboards offer enough storage space.
