Miesenbach bei Birkfeld“Resting place for body and soul” - the Jakob Chapel
A Place of Silence – the Jakob Chapel by Karl Milchrahm
Each and every one of us has a dream.
Karl Milchrahm from Miesenbach has fulfilled a very special one: his own chapel – right at his doorstep.
What began in 2014 as a small model at a scale of 1:5 became a reality just a year later. Through meticulous handwork, with great attention to detail and countless hours of effort, the Jakob Chapel made of wood emerged – a very personal treasure.
For Karl Milchrahm, it is “a resting place for body and soul.” And anyone who would like to see for themselves is warmly invited: The chapel is freely accessible during the day and can be visited at any time.
The path to it is just as idyllic as it is easy to find: From the Kreuzwirt at Berglerweg, follow the path towards Wildwiesenhof. After about 300 meters, a scale model of the chapel indicates the way – from there it is only about 650 meters to the Jakob Chapel, which rests above Poin in the landscape.
The chapel is freely accessible and entry is at your own risk.
