From Schladming take the B320 "Ennstalbundesstraße" highway to Gleiming (about 8 kms) and the valley station of the Reiteralm cable-car "Silver Jet".

From Gleiming you take the Silver-Jet gondola and the 6-seater chairlift Gasselhöhe to the Reiteralm. From the top station of the chairlift you start with the snowshoes in southern direction. A first easy ascent brings you to a small hill before the further ascent to the Gassehöhe begins. Arrived at the summit cross of the Gasselhöhe you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Schladminger Tauern, the Dachstein massif and the Enns valley.
