Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here towards Murau. After entering Murau, you will see the St. Ägidi church on the left-hand side.

Coming from Murau via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur), drive straight on to Murau. Drive over the four traffic circles. St. Ägidikirche is located after the Lidl supermarket on the right-hand side.

The hike starts at the St. Ägidi church. Cross the main road and walk to the Wedamschlössl. From here, the path leads along the main road, past the "Pagro" store to the Monspergkreuz at the Stolzalpen traffic circle. Here you cross the road heading south and continue along Grazerstraße. You pass the crafts museum and the Capuchin monastery. Towards the center of Murau, turn right at the former Bruderhaus and walk past a wayside chapel to the St. Anna cemetery church.

In the town center of Murau there are several places to stop for a bite to eat afterwards.
