Peaks and art on the Marktlköpfl at 1,845m above sea level.
A group of sculptures by the artist Christian Eisenberger awaits you at 1,845m above sea level. Six life-size figures cast in bronze, facing each other in a hexagon on the hill. The figures are reminiscent of cocoons and larvae. In fact, the casts are of shells from which a person escaped: Christian Eisenberger had his body wrapped in packing tape from bottom to top until nothing could be seen of him anymore and he was close to suffocation. With the knife he cut himself out from the inside, a self-liberation that was tantamount to rebirth. Art as metamorphosis. Art as food for thought, breaking through structures and looking at things differently.
