Dear guest,
in Lachtal Schönberg, chalets are currently being built that are architecturally adapted to the surroundings. Our chalet “Auszeit” is equipped for all four seasons, will go into operation in early December 2017, and can be booked year-round starting now.

Animal lovers are very welcome here. Not only in summer, but also in winter, the nearby area offers wonderful hiking trails where your beloved four-legged friend can accompany you.
The entrance area of our chalet has been designed multifunctionally as a storage room for skis, a washing & drying room for your shoes, and a cleaning area for your dear pets.

Since you can use our chalet year-round, a ventilation system with heat recovery has been installed, which ensures quick drying of clothes and a good room climate, especially in the winter months.
On request, breakfast pastries will be delivered from the bakery, and your pre-ordered grocery shopping will be taken care of by us.
For guests, whether large or small, who want to learn to ski, appointments can be arranged with the Brunner ski school. The Brunner ski school has a sufficient range of equipment for rental.

Arrival

The chalet is easily accessible by car for arrival and departure. From the chalet, you can ski directly to two valley stations and back to the chalet. Immediately next to the chalet is the Grossaalm, where you can enjoy typical Styrian specialties.

For the drive, a car with all-wheel drive and/or snow chains is recommended.

Room details

The chalet has approximately 117 m² + 20 m² sun terrace + balcony and features 4 double bedrooms, each with 1 TV with internet connection, 1 bathroom with bathtub + hairdryer, 1 bathroom with shower + hairdryer and sauna, 1 WC with washing machine.
The living space includes a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator (+freezer), oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, and sink, as well as sufficient dishes for 10 persons. The table measuring 2.50m x 1.10m offers sufficient space for 8 – 10 people. The living space is additionally equipped with a TV and a pull-out couch as a bed for an additional 2 persons, a Swedish stove, and a small exchange library. The entire chalet has free Wi-Fi.

The winter sports area Lachtal offers 35 km of prepared (blue, red, and black) slopes on a ski area of 150 ha. The ski area is located at an altitude of 1650 to approximately 2200 m. About 10 km of ski touring routes are available for ski tourers. For children, there is a children's ski slope with supervision. Children up to 6 years can ride free with their parents at the lifts. Due to the altitude of the ski area, it is one of the snowiest ski areas in Styria.
