The Kreischberg presents itself in summer as a beautiful hikin area for the whole family! The new 10-seater gondola lift takes you comfortably from the valley up to 1.800 meters sea level. The circular trail in the dinosaur forest is a "must" for every family hiking day: from the mountain station you hike leisurely across an alpine meadow to the pine forest. Here you can see giant dinosaur figures, some of which even make sounds.
On the display boards you can learn a lot about Utahraptor, Triceratops, Postosuchus, Ilosaurus and the other inhabitants of the dinosaur forest.

Coming from Jundeburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Here turn right in the direction of Murau. Continue straight on until you reach St. Georgen ob Murau. In St. Georgen ob Murau keep left.
Coming from Tamsweg via Stadl an der Mur always straight on to Lutzmannsdorf. Keep right here and drive to the Kreischberg valley station.
Start at the top station of the 10-seater gondola lift on the Kreischberg. You leave to the right and follow the circular path of the Dinowald until you arrive back at the top station of the 10-person gondola.
