Almost 300 cities and towns make up the multi-faceted cultural landscape of Austria's greenest federal state. What's more, the various towns also cater to the culinary tastes of their visitors. St. Ruprecht an der Raab in East Styria, for instance, has devoted itself entirely to the cultivation and preparation of the scarlet runner bean with its nutty, peppery nuances. Leutschach in South Styria, on the other hand, is home to numerous wine-growing areas where exquisite wines are made. At the same time, it's also Austria's largest hop-growing region.
