Wellbeing trail Hubertussee

Open
Well-being paths invite you to relax in nature. Well-being paths inspire and open up new perspectives.
The route runs largely level from the Wuchtlwirtin to the Hubertussee. After a short stretch on the road, the trail follows the natural White Walster downstream to the confluence with the lake. From there it goes along the idyllic north shore to the Bruder Klaus church and on to a rest area on the shady lakeshore.

Journey to the Wuchtlwirtin
The hike starts at the Wuchtlwirtin (large parking lot). From there we walk about 350 meters on the paved road to the lake (southwest direction). Shortly after a bench at the roadside, we turn right onto the paved forest road that leads down to the Weißen Walster. Immediately behind a former forestry building we reach a wayside shrine with a resting bench by the river. To the left of the path there is a protected wet meadow. Two hundred meters further on, at a gravel extraction point, we already meet the next bench (this time without a backrest). After another 300 meters on the same path, shortly after a small bridge, we reach the lakeshore, where a resting place is also waiting for the hikers. A short distance to the left of the crossroads in the direction of Walster Street there is a small parking lot (not asphalted).

We keep to the right at the crossroads and from now on stay on the asphalted north shore road. Passing a pond, after a little more than 300 meters we reach the Hubertus Chapel with a resting bench and a spring. The bench and chapel are located about 20 meters above the path and can be reached via a narrow path.

Four hundred meters further follows the next bench, after which we pass the Bruder Klaus church. A short, asphalted but steep path leads up to the church. At the top, several resting places and a beautiful view over the lake await the hikers. From here, it is a little less than 300 meters to the last station of the hike. Passing a dammed side arm of the lake and a resting bench, we finally reach a short path on the embankment down to a quiet resting place between trees, which offers a beautiful view of the lake.

If you want, you can walk another 200 meters from here through a short tunnel to the bridge with the lake lock. From there you can optionally return to the Wuchtlwirtin on the Walster road, which is frequented by cars, on the southern shore of the lake, or you can walk back the same way.
