Basic skiing skills are required for the ski tour.

The view towards Mariazell from the Feldhütl is beautiful. Mariazell is easy to see, but actually far away. With a zoom camera you can capture interesting Mariazell perspectives.

The ski tour can also be done with snowshoes.

From Mariazell drive over the Rasingberg in the direction of Gußwerk, in Rasing turn right after the large sawmill.

In Teichmühle then turn left to the beginning of the Köckensattel-Forststraße.

We start in Teichmühle, where we walk along the Köckensattel forest road up to the Köckensattel. Shortly before the former Köckensattel inn, we branch off to the right to Ochsenboden (trail arrow Zellerhut).

At Ochsenboden we then turn left across the open meadows to Feldhütl.

Attention: Just before the summit you have to cross a short slope that may be dangerous for avalanches.

Descent as ascent.
