Starting from the municipal office in Mürzhofen, we take Wiener Straße in the direction of Hadersdorf. After the Turmwirt inn, turn left into Alte Poststraße, then turn right and follow the country lane to the Zöscher farm in Althadersdorf. We cross the bridge over the Lambach and follow the road to the left, which leads into the ditch of the same name. On the way to the highest point of this tour, the Kochhütte (1100 m), we pass the Lammer, Bigaunzer and Kochboden farmsteads (shortcut: left, along the road, past the Ullmanner farmstead, saving approx. 1 hour) as well as the Koch and Trippl farmsteads. From the Kochhütte we turn right over the Stiegl (fence) to the Ochsenhimmelkreuz. We then climb back over the Stiegl and follow the signposts to the Hinter-Buchrieser farmstead. We walk past the farmstead, along the road that leads us into the Mürzgraben. At the bottom, we turn left, where path 458 also runs, and walk leisurely out of the Mürzgraben to the starting point of the tour.
