In 2020 the Austrian Red Cross will celebrate its 140th birthday. From the day it was founded, it was clear how the organization wanted to work: neutral, independent and unselfish to help those who need this help. We still do that today with full commitment, every day, in 192 countries around the world. The Austrian Red Cross laid this out in a mission statement as early as 1994.
