The Riegler family's restaurant - the Schmankerlwirtshaus - has been located on the south-west side of Brucker Hauptplatz since November 1986. The house was used as an inn as early as 1638. This makes it the oldest inn in town.
The restaurant's kitchen is based on the Styrian tradition, but always follows the seasons. The dishes are prepared exclusively with fresh, natural ingredients from regional quality suppliers. The wine list includes a considerable range from all over the wine country. Since October 2010, what is probably the most extensive range of whiskey in Styria with around 60 types has been available.
In addition, the restaurant has rooms for every occasion. In addition to the actual guest room with 50 seats, family celebrations for up to 25 people can be accommodated in the Hohenlimburgstüberl; On the first floor, parties can be held in the “Rennfelder Gmoastubn” for up to 30 people and the Schlaraffensaal with its open fireplace offers a pleasantly homely atmosphere for events for up to 80 people. There is also enough space on the south-facing, partly glass-roofed sun terrace. From there you have a wonderful panoramic view of Bruck's local mountain, the Rennfeld, and the quietly flowing Mur. Connected to the terrace is a summer and winter garden of around 100 m² with a bar; Together with the terrace, a sun-drenched, bright area is offered to a further 60 guests.
