New operator focuses on regionality and seasonality!
Since 2024, there is a new operator of the regional cuisine & café at the Ötscher Base in Wienerbruck.
The focus of the offered dishes and beverages is on the use of regional products from the Alpine Mostviertel and the Mariazell region.
The menu adapts to seasonal and regional availability.
Benjamin Mathias Fluch, as the new tenant of the regional cuisine, has gained international experience in the event industry and in the hotel and restaurant sector during his career as a chef and certified master cook. After long stays abroad and years of working in Vorarlberg, he has now returned to his homeland.
Benjamin and his team are looking forward to the challenge in the nature park.
The regional cuisine will continue to operate as a self-service restaurant. As an experienced event caterer, Benjamin will also host events at the Ötscher Base year-round. Seminars, group trips, corporate events, and music events, to name just a few possibilities at the regional cuisine, will be customized to meet the client's needs.
