The cheese is made from raw milk according to Swiss alpine tradition.
Milk production on the rented farm (6 ha of grassland) in Sulzgraben. 6 cows are kept. In summer, exclusively pasture-based, in winter hay feeding.Produced are: Hochschwab cheese Alpador (various ripening degrees), smoked cheese, and St. Ilgen cheese.Direct sales from the farm in St. Ilgen 91 (about 350m after the church; signposted)
For groups of 5 or more, the farm and cheese dairy can be visited. Registration required.
