The airfield Lanzen Turnau is a popular destination for glider pilots from both the domestic and international scene, thanks to its excellent location on the edge of the Hochschwab massif and the outstanding thermals. It is well-suited for performance gliding as well as for those pilots who wish to take a scenic flight over the Upper Styria.
With our two-seater glider, we offer trial flights. With these, you can enjoy our wonderful mountain world as if from the perspective of an eagle in silent flight. There is also the option to explore Upper Styria with the motorized Dimona from LANZEN. Vouchers for a flying experience can be purchased at our low-cost self-cost prices.
Open: from March to October 2022 on weekends and daily from May to July with a manager (PPR).
