The church in Gollrad was built by miners between 1830 and 1833. The church stands on a hill at the foot of the Seeberg and is dedicated to St. Barbara.
Jewels from the "Gußwerker Eisengießerei" can be found inside the church, with the showpiece being a cast relief of the Last Supper after the picture of Leonardo da Vinci decorates the front of the altar.
