The Martini family has been producing ice cream since 1938. Over time, the old ice cream recipes were changed a little, reinvented and tried out. But the way of making ice cream has remained the same.

The Martini family comes from a place near Cortina d'Ampezzo, a famous ski resort in Italy, hence the name Cortina

The first Cortina ice cream parlor opened in Germany in 1938 and in Italy in the 1960s. The family's first ice cream parlor in Leoben followed in 1996.
