Book your guide - private tour with a National Park Ranger


Our rangers tailor their tours to your individual wishes, ideas and interests.

Why does the forest look so chaotic here? And what exactly makes this little blue beetle special? Our rangers will answer your questions during an exclusive guided tour and convey the heart of our national park: the values of wilderness.


Contact the information office in Admont and we will be happy to find you an experienced and suitable National Park Ranger. Inquiries under the Tel: +43(0)3613/21160-20; info@nationalpark-gesaeuse.at, or you use the direct booking: simply select date, half or full day and off you go. We take care of everything else for you. Booking and payment is handled by the Gesäuse National Park Information Office in Admont.

Gesäuse partners in the category "outdoor providers" also offer their own programs and individual tours (rafting, ski tours, climbing tours, hiking... ): venture out with friends onto more difficult hiking trails in the high mountains, test your climbing skills or go on a ski tour in winter without worrying about orientation and safety...


Interests and intensity of the half or full day tour are individually adapted.

Are there any examples of such tours?

Yes, you can get an overview of our standard tours here. You are also welcome to simply request thematic focuses, routes or activities and we will organize a ranger that exactly fits your needs.

I would also like to book a mountain hiking guide or a mountain guide?

For difficult hikes in alpine summit regions, climbing tours or ski tours, you should be accompanied by mountain guides or mountain hiking guides. You can find an overview here Bergwander- und Bergführer

Meeting point will be arranged together with the guide when booking

If possible, travel to our events by public transport or use the Gesäuse collective taxi (+43 3613 21000 99). There is a charge for parking in the Gesäuse National Park (day ticket € 6.00). You can find more information here.

You pay conveniently by credit card, direct bank transfer. If you would like to transfer the tour after receiving the invoice, please contact us.
